TL;DR: we made a tool. We don't watch how you use it, we don't control what you do with the output, and we are not responsible for it. Zero liability. Full stop.

What this service actually is

WTFK is a passion project, built by engineers at Black Sea Tech SRL who find image forensics interesting. It is a technical experiment, not a professional service.

Zero-liability clause

To the maximum extent permitted by Romanian law, EU law, and the law of your jurisdiction:

  1. We accept no liability whatsoever for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

    • Your use of the Service.
    • Your use of any file produced by the Service.
    • Any platform's (TikTok, Meta, Instagram, Youtube, X, others) decision to flag, remove, demonetize, or ban content processed by the Service.
    • Any legal, regulatory, or platform-policy action taken against you.
    • Loss of revenue, reputation, credits, or anticipated savings.

  2. The output files are yours, not ours. Once we hand you the purified file, what you do with it is entirely your problem. We are not your publisher, your editor, your accomplice, or your partner.

  3. No warranty. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or accuracy. We don't promise it works; we promise we tried to make it interesting.

  4. Cap on aggregate liability: €0 (zero euros). Because the Service is offered with no service-level agreement, no uptime commitment, and no outcome guarantee, the aggregate liability of Black Sea Tech SRL, its directors, employees, and contractors is zero.

  5. Your indemnity. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Black Sea Tech SRL from any claim, demand, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these terms.

How you should actually think about this

We built a tool that plays with files. We charge a small amount of money so that people can play with it, and because Stripe fees and hosting aren't free. That is the entire business model. We do not sell your data, we do not operate ads, we do not run analytics on you, we do not store your uploads, we do not cooperate with platforms to "catch" you.

If that doesn't work for you — if you need a service, with accountability and guarantees and an SLA — do not use this tool. There are professional vendors for forensic anonymization. This is not them.

For users in the EU

The exclusions above do not limit your mandatory consumer rights under Directive 2011/83/EU (consumer rights) and Directive 93/13/EEC (unfair contract terms), which cannot be waived by contract. In particular:

  • Your statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days for digital content services where you have not yet consumed the credits.
  • Rights under GDPR (see Privacy Policy) — those are statutory and unaffected by this clause.

For users elsewhere

You agree that Romanian law governs, and that the courts of Bucharest have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local law provides mandatory protections that cannot be disclaimed.
