1. What this is

WTFK is a small side-project built out of passion, for the tech. It accepts user-uploaded images and videos and applies a series of automated transformations (metadata removal, pixel-level noise, container rewrite) designed to produce an output file that is visually equivalent to the input but no longer carries the original's technical fingerprint.

We built it because we find the cryptography of content identification interesting. That's it.

2. No professional use

This is not a forensic tool, not a legal-anonymization service, and not a compliance solution. If you rely on the output for any legal, journalistic, evidentiary, or commercial purpose, you are doing so entirely at your own risk.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Pass off AI-generated or manipulated imagery as authentic documentary evidence in legal proceedings, journalistic fact-claims, insurance claims, or fraud.
  • Process content you do not have full rights to.
  • Harass, defame, or violate the rights of any third party.
  • Violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the person depicted in the content.

Violation of the above ends your access without refund.

4. Accounts & credits

  • Free tier: 5 image purifications. No video on the free tier.
  • Paid tiers: sold as one-time credit packs, priced in EUR. Prices on the site are final; no subscription, no auto-renew.
  • Credits do not expire while your account is active. Deleting your account forfeits unused credits.

5. Payments

Processed by Stripe (Stripe Inc.) and PayPal (PayPal Europe S.à r.l.). We never see, store, or process your card number or bank credentials — those go directly to the processor. Chargebacks and payment disputes are handled through the processor's own tooling.

6. Data handling (summary)

  • Originals: deleted from our servers the moment processing finishes.
  • Result files: auto-expire after 7 days, then deleted.
  • Logs: standard web server logs retained 30 days for abuse prevention.
  • No training: we do not train ML models on your uploads. We do not sell your data.

7. Termination

We may suspend or delete any account that violates these terms, with or without notice, and without refund, where the violation is material.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email and posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law: Romania. Mandatory EU consumer protections apply to EU-resident consumers.
